1The account is owned and managed by the parent or guardian. The minor must be designated as a beneficiary, with their date of birth provided. When the minor reaches the age of 13, the Bank may recommend that they open their account.
2A minor must be listed as the primary account owner. A parent or legal guardian over the age of 18 is required to be a joint owner on the account to help manage the account until the minor turns 18. At which time, the account will automatically be converted to a Community Checking account.

6Online Banking with Mobile Deposits and Account Alerts is available to minors between the ages of 13–17 with a parent or guardian account holder. Mobile Deposit and Account Alerts require enrollment in Universal Bank Online Banking. Other limitations may apply.
7Online Bill Pay is not available to minors under the age of 18. It is only accessible to parent or guardian account holders who are enrolled in Universal Bank Online Banking and have activated Online Bill Pay. Other limitations may apply.
8Zelle is available to minors between the ages of 13–17. Enrollment in Zelle® with a U.S. checking or savings account is required to use the service. Universal Bank customers must use an eligible Universal Bank consumer checking account, which may have its own account fees. Consult your account agreement. To send money to or receive money from a small business, both parties must be enrolled with Zelle® directly through their financial institution's online or mobile app experience. Funds are typically made available in minutes when the recipient's email address or U.S. mobile number is already enrolled with Zelle® (go to enroll.zellepay.com to view participating banks). Select transactions could take up to three (3) business days. Enroll in the Universal Bank mobile app. Other limitations may apply. Message and data rates may apply.
Only send money to people and businesses you trust. Neither Universal Bank nor Zelle® offers a protection program for any authorized payments made with Zelle®, or provide coverage for non-received, damaged, or not-as-described goods and services you purchase using Zelle®, so you might not be able to get your money back once you send it.
